“Three Suspects Arrested in Armed Robberies at Redwood City 7-11 Stores”

Redwood City police, in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies, successfully apprehended three men linked to a string of armed robberies at local 7-11 stores.

According to a press release from the Redwood City Police Department, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at the 7-11 on 5th Avenue early this morning. This incident was quickly followed by another robbery approximately 20 minutes later at a second 7-11 on El Camino Real.

The suspects’ descriptions matched those from an earlier alert issued by Martinez Police Department. A resourceful dispatcher from the San Mateo Police Department connected the dots by searching relevant databases, leading to a breakthrough in the case.

After hearing the descriptions, the dispatcher referenced the Martinez bulletin, which was confirmed through a hit from Redwood City’s newly implemented Automated License Plate Reader system.

One suspect was found concealed under a dumpster, where officers also discovered a discarded firearm nearby. He was among three suspects who initially tried to blend in at a nearby Denny’s restaurant before police arrived. The other two suspects were caught after a short foot pursuit; one was located hiding several blocks away, while the third was found inside the suspect vehicle.

The three suspects—Jeremiah Patton, Wesley Michael, and Anderson David—ages 19 to 30, now face charges of armed robbery and various felony gun offenses.
